Saving yourself doesn’t really mean much. I mean, it’s better than nothing for you as an individual, but in the big picture it doesn’t really mean much. So what if I’ve managed to be a refusenik all my life and do the things that I wanted to do? So what if I’ve escaped in some way personally?
