Nina Danino asked if I’d be interested in contributing music to her new film Venice. That collaboration took a hundred twists and turns from blues rock to EDM, and now one possible version is available for you to hear.
In this version of the track, Nina reads Baudelaire’s “Harmonie du soir” from Les Fleurs du mal over a pulsing techno beat inspired by Thomas Bangalter’s music for the films of Gaspar Noé. Does that make me the Ali Akbar Khan in this situation?
