I’m putting out new music under my own name for the first time in three years today.

“Dogs” is a solo guitar piece and the b-side is a transformation of the same material. If you’ve been to any of my solo performances over the last couple years, this is sort of a stripped-down take on a similar sound.

I’ve had this recording sitting on my computer for a while now but I’m finally putting it out to coincide with Joe’s new single. Despite trying to keep busy over the last few years, neither of us actually has that much to show for it materially, so when Joe told me he’s assembling material for a new album it pushed me to do the same and begin organizing everything I recorded this year. (Yes, that means a “real” release is on its way.) This little single is a decidedly minor work, but in terms of getting my shit back on track it feels like a step in the right direction. Here’s to no longer wallowing…
